Who is responsible
This site is operated by Korrine Sky. For anything relating to your information, contact korrine@smade.co.uk and mark it for the attention of the data controller.
What is collected
Enquiry forms: your name, email address, and anything you choose to include such as organisation, budget range, dates and the detail of your enquiry. The page you sent it from is also recorded so I know what you were reading.
Newsletter signup: your email address and where on the site you signed up.
Nothing else is collected. There is no advertising tracking on this site and no third-party profiling.
Why it is collected
Enquiry details are used to reply to you and, if we work together, to set the work up. The legal basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry, and where relevant, steps taken before entering a contract.
Newsletter signups are used only to send Culture & Commerce. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
Who sees it
Korrine Sky, and where an enquiry concerns SMADE Group work, the relevant colleagues at SMADE Group.
Form submissions are stored on a secure managed database hosted in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Newsletter content is distributed through Substack, which processes subscriber email addresses on my behalf.
Your details are never sold, rented or shared for marketing by anyone else.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after twenty four months. Enquiries that become projects are kept for as long as the business relationship and the associated record-keeping obligations require, then deleted.
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, or ask for it to be restricted or transferred. Email the address above and you will get a response within one month.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded YouTube players on the podcast and media pages are loaded from YouTube and may set their own cookies once you press play. That is governed by Google's privacy policy.
