Social impact and crisis
I have been on both sides of a displacement story.
I entered the UK as a child asylum seeker. Years later I left Ukraine as a refugee when the war started, and documented the escape in real time. What began as one thread became a rescue operation, and then an organisation.

In February 2022 I was a medical student in Ukraine. I started posting what was happening to Black and African students at the borders, and the thread turned into a coordination desk: transport, accommodation, cash, legal routes and press.
That work is the clearest example of what I now do commercially. Crisis management is narrative strategy under time pressure. You establish the facts, name the pattern nobody wants to name, give the media something accurate to carry, and convert attention into logistics before the news cycle moves on.
Why this sits next to the commercial work
Crisis work and culture work are the same skill.
Both are about who gets believed, how fast, and what happens once they are. The campaigns above are the reason I build brand strategy the way I do: culturally fluent, evidence first, and designed to hold up when the room is hostile.
