Made in ZWE, Welcome to the Tribe

Context
The first Made in ZWE tribe event, created with Kuda, as a space to connect Zimbabwean creatives across the diaspora. A panel of accomplished creators, a Zimbabwean owned studio, and about 100 people in the room.
My role
Co-founder · Event organiser · Panel curation · Talent booking
- Concept and delivery of the first Made in ZWE tribe event, built with my partner in crime Kuda.
- Panel curation and booking: Tafara Makopa, Man Like Tats, Superstar Jani and Munashe Chirisa.
- Venue and production at a Zimbabwean owned studio, keeping the money and the platform inside the community.
- Sponsor and partner development across Ngoto Craft Gin, Runako San, MAKO Studios, SMADE Events, The Southern African Times and Chilana This Sundays.
- Guestlisting and curation of the room, so the right creatives, founders and media were in it.
