Run the Cultural Alignment Filter
Score the next thing you are about to launch, before you launch it.
The filter turns everything in this course into a decision you can make in a meeting. Five dimensions, each scored one to five: cultural relevance, community involvement, contextual integrity, power awareness and purpose alignment. Twenty-five is the ceiling.
Twenty-five means go ahead. Twenty to twenty-four means proceed with an audit of the weak dimension. Nineteen or below means stop and review, because the thing most likely to fail publicly is the dimension you scored lowest and hoped nobody would ask about.
Score it honestly and score it early, while the work can still change. Scored after sign-off it is theatre. Any single dimension at one or two is a red flag regardless of the total, because a strong average hides a specific failure.
Run it with the people who disagree with you in the room. A filter scored alone tells you what you already believed.
The dimension you scored lowest is the one you will be asked about in public.
Do this
Score your next activation and write the verdict down.
- 1Open the filter and score all five dimensions for a live project.
- 2Write the total, the band and the weakest dimension in your own notes.
- 3Write one change that would raise the weakest dimension by two points, and who owns it.
Checkpoint. A score you did not act on is a score you did not need. Assign the fix an owner and a date.
