The Executive Branch
2026 · Ongoing, narrative and communications strategist and advisory board member
Context
The Executive Branch is a movement for career-driven Black women to connect, network and exchange intergenerational knowledge. I sit on the advisory board and lead the narrative and communications work that holds the community, the conference and the partnerships inside one story.
My role
Narrative Strategy · Advisory · Partnerships
- Narrative strategy, defining how the movement explains itself to members, speakers, press and partners in one consistent voice.
- Communications and content direction across channels, with a team member embedded to keep the day to day publishing consistent.
- Legacy Conference communications, from the delegate messaging to the on the day programme narrative.
- Community growth strategy, keeping a 16,000 strong membership active rather than passive.
- Event organisation and speaker booking, shaping programmes, securing speakers and hosting on the day.
- Partner communications and renewal narratives for the brands backing the movement.
- Speaking and brand experience, delivering talks at events and curating gifting and PR moments for attendees.
